I Kind Of Like This Hockey Coach Who Got Fired Because He's A Nazi. Seems Like A Pretty Cool Dude

NORTH DELTAA North Delta minor hockey coach has been fired for posting Nazi propaganda to his Facebook page. “You can’t be a Nazi and coach kids hockey,” said one concerned parent. The North Delta Minor Hockey Association fired Christopher Maximilian Sandau, 33, from its rep hockey program on Saturday (Nov. 1) after receiving information about “disturbing” public social media posts. “The posts contained extreme and objectionable material believed to be incompatible with an important purpose of our minor hockey association — to promote and encourage good citizenship,” Anita Cairney, president of the NDMH, said in a prepared statement. “The NDMHA requires that our coaches present themselves as positive role models for our children athletes,” she added. Cairney said the association’s board of directors voted to “relieve this coach of all association” with the NDMHA effective Nov. 1, and that alternate coaching arrangements have been put in place. Sandau’s Facebook page is largely a shrine to Adolph Hitler and Nazism. Included is a swastika over which Sandau wrote “may god be with us and the truth prevail,” another swastika with the message “If this flag offends you you need a history lesson,” and a photoshopped image of an astronaut standing on the moon, doing a “sieg heil” salute to a Nazi flag. There’s a photo of Hitler, with the message “Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told,” and many other postings of similar subject matter that were still on his Facebook page at deadline Wednesday morning. The Langley resident had been coaching players Grades 6 to 9. “It really was my livelihood. Hockey has been my life,” he told the Now after being fired. “My view on the history basically got me canned. A lot of people have no idea about the other side of the story.” Sandau said he realizes his views are controversial. “I get it, it’s a really touchy subject,” he said.

I kind of like this dude, just seems like a chill Nazi doesn’t he? Most Nazis are all up in your face with all that white power and death to Jews nonsense. Chris is just a down to earth guy who has a few controversial views. But he gets why he was fired, he understand it’s a touchy subject being a Hitler lover. He strikes me as the kind of guy you can have in your crew and bust balls with. Like I have a friend who’s a Yankee fan and when I introduce him to other friend I say “Oh by the way, Bob likes the Yankees” and we’re all like “Hahaha booo Yankees suck lollll” and get a few yucks out of it. That’s who Chris could be. He’s my Nazi buddy that everyone razzes. “Hey Chris these are my buddies Mike, Sull and Pat. Guys, this is Chris. He’s a Nazi but he brings up the good point that you’ve only heard one side of the story when it comes to the genocide of millions of people.” Then we’d all be like “Hahaha whatttt dude the Nazis suck! Haven’t won the big one ever and haven’t even been close in over 60 years! Bunch of fucking jokers. Barely even a real team. Are there even any Nazi fans left? Had a few bandwagonners back in the day and no one even pays them any mind anymore.” And Chris would say “Ah man you guys are real ball busters… but at least you’re not Jews!” then we’d laugh, go grab a few beers and watch some hockey. That’s how I imagine our friendship at least.
