Is It Too Early For Pats Fans To Book Superbowl Trips to Arizona?
Whoops…..
“We saw a weak team. The New England Patriots let’s face it. They’re NOT good anymore. They’re weak”
– Trent Dilfer 9/29/14
That was beautiful to watch. Just a total and complete demolition job of the team everybody is saying is the best team in the NFL. Peyton Manning and company getting their lunch stuffed down their throats from the opening kickoff to the final whistle. The Pats now have the inside track for homefield throughout the playoffs. They are clearly the best team in football right now and it’s not even close. The Broncos know they have ZERO chance to come here in December and win a playoff game. The superlatives just keep coming. It’s kind of crazy to think that just a few weeks ago we had questions like these.
Seriously what do guys like Felger and Mazz talk about during weeks like these? What happens to all the morons who were saying Brady needs to be traded? Or all the morons who were saying Brady hates Belichick because he wouldn’t give him any weapons? Or what about the idiots who said the team was going to revolt when Mankins was traded? Do they just pretend they never said anything? Games like these just reinforce why Jerry and I have blind faith in Belichick. Why we defend their every move. Why being a Patriots fan is the greatest gift god can give a guy. Because every single year for the past 15 years Pats fans faith is always rewarded. Everything Belichick does is designed to make this team ready to compete for Superbowls every single year. Anybody who complains at any point during the season or questions anything Belichick does is just doing it for ratings or a complete moron. The talking heads love complaining in September and October and eating crowe November-January. That’s just the way it works around here. Today was great to watch but not remotely surprising. This team has to be considered one of the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy just like they always are and as a fan that’s all you can ask for.
Now to quote the most brilliant football mind of our generation….
We’re onto Cincinnati. Buffalo. Jets. Chicago. Denver. Indy.
