I fucking love Matthew McConaughey man. He's the absolute best. No one is more like themselves all the time than Matthew McConaughey. Does that make sense? It should. It doesn't matter what setting or movie or commercial or college football sideline Matthew McConaughey is on, he's always himself. You could wake Matthew McConaughey up in the middle of the night and he'd be the exact same guy he is in all of those weird-as-fuck Lincoln commercials and we wouldn't have it any other way. And I say all that to say I couldn't be happier that Matthew McConaughey is the guy giving the world a pump up speed amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Matthew McConaughey's speech is the first thing that made me feel like we might actually get through this thing. Matthew McConaughey fills me with such positive energy even as we're all ordered to hunker down and stay in our homes during this pandemic.
