It Seems Like The Time Is Coming For Bill Belichick To Fulfill His Prophecy And Start Coaching In The PLL

They say that all great things must come to an end. And it appears that the end is now approaching for the New England Patriots. If you've been around for long enough, you'd know to always laugh at anyone who would suggest that the dynasty is over as long as the Pats had both Brady and Belichick. Every year the Patriots would hit a rough patch, every year some dingus like Max Kellerman would declare that the dynasty is coming to an end, and plenty of years the Patriots would shut him up and go on to play in the Super Bowl. 13 trips to the AFC Championship. 9 trips to the Super Bowl. 6 rings. As long as there was Brady and Belichick, there was going to be a dynasty.

But now we wait and see. Now we find out if the dynasty was all Brady AND Belichick, or if it was just Billy B himself. But the world works in mysterious ways. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. And perhaps...just perhaps...perhaps Tom Brady leaving the New England Patriots today was an essential moment for Bill Belichick to fulfill the prophecy. This is the moment right here and right now that will truly lead to lacrosse being the Sport of the Future.

For as long as I can remember, lacrosse has been "the sport of the future". But also for as long as I can remember, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick were winning Super Bowls together with the New England Patriots. Could we potentially be watching the shift into the future at this very moment? Let's just say that the Patriots end up sucking balls this year. And not sucking balls to the extent that they get to draft Trevor Lawrence in 2021. But sucking balls to the point of being the epitome of mediocrity. At the same time, the Premier Lacrosse League continues to grow. We've already seen the league add a 7th expansion team for this season, and it's pretty much a guarantee that an 8th team is coming in the near future.

So Bill Belichick leaves the Pats, starts coaching the 8th expansion team in the PLL, and just like that the future is now. A ton of people are talking about what Tom Brady leaving means for the New England Patriots but I think this means something more to the entire sport of football in general. It's only a matter of time before lacrosse finally takes over, and this was the catalyst. The prophecy will be fulfilled. Double B to the Premier Lacrosse League. This is the way.
