This Blog Serves As The Perfect Distraction From Our New Life Without Tom Brady
Every single masshole on the planet is still in shock with the Tom Brady news this morning. How could you not be? We as a people haven't had to live without Tom Brady playing for the Patriots for the last 20 years. I was 12 the last time Brady wasn't a member of the Patriots. It's insane, it's depressing, it doesn't seem real, all of that shit. Chances are unless you're a Patriots or Boston hater times are tough. You're already depressed with no sports being on, this most certainly was the kick to the dick you did not need.
Which is why this might be the most important blog I have ever written. While nothing, and I mean nothing, will come anywhere close to filling the Tom Brady void our lives now have, there is reason for optimism. We have some young kings ready to take the torch from Tom and dominate for years and years and years. Hopefully it'll mean titles the same way it did with Tom, that's a tall ask but one can dream can't he? But through all the hurt and confusion that today brings, this should help serve as the perfect distraction
Jayson Tatum: 22 years old / 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.4 steals on 44/39% shooting with 2.8 3PM
David Pastrnak: 23 years old / 48 goals, 47 assists, 95 points, +21
Jaylen Brown: 23 years old / 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals on 49/38% shooting with 2.1 3PM
The future of the City Of Champions is now in the hands of these three beasts. All young as shit, all some of the best individual talents in their respective leagues, just watch these highlights at any point today when you start to feel sad about Brady. I would have also included Mookie but…..you know. They all have gigantic shoes to fill, but never forget that while today sucks big time balls the future remains bright.
