THE CHICAGO BEARS ARE REPORTEDLY GOING AFTER TEDDY BRIDGEWATER

(PFT)--The Mitchell Trubisky era in Chicago could be ending. At least, his era as a starter.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, talks are underway between the Bears and Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

The initial numbers floating around (something in the range of $21 million per year) suggest that Bridgewater would be installed as the No. 1 option in Chicago. And that would be a great deal for a guy who has started six games since January 2016.

Let's FUCKING GOOOO

I am fired up. I like Teddy Bridgewater, but more than that I am going to be in battle with WSD that will last several years

This is going to be fun. I haven't worn a jersey in like 10 years but I am going to pre-order my Teddy Bridgewater Bears jersey and wear it to the office like every single day. Is Teddy Bridgewater the next Patrick Mahomes or some sort of savior. No, I don't think so. Is he good...yes. When Ryan Pace drafted Mitch Trubisky he said that he was looking for the next Drew Brees. That CLEARLY isn't going to be Mitch. Bridgewater isn't Brees either, but I think he can be Alex Smith. Smart, ball comes out on time, moves the ball down the field, accurate inside of the numbers, mobile, but not a Lamar Jackson type. The Bears have a lot of pieces in place, but it is clear that you can't go anywhere without a quarterback and Teddy is going to be that guy here for the Bears. I need this to be official and I need to rub WSD's nose in shit every day.

Steven Cheah loves it. Can't wait.
