How Would Mr. Commenter Approach A Day Drinking Event At the NFL Owners Meetings with Jay Glazer?

It's the first full week without sports for a very long time. Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter will continue to do their best to put out high-level Pardon My Take episodes during this time, though. And luckily, we have ourselves a treat on this Monday. Recurring guest and NFL Insider Jay Glazer is on today's show, and the trio discussed everything from NFL Free Agency, the MVP, house parties with celebrities, and more. He also brought up how much fun the annual NFL Owners Meeting's get, and that caught Mr. Commenter's attention immediately. So, that brings up a good question: what would a life with Mr. Commenter at these meetings look like?

Jay Glazer: So, I have a big day drinking day at the Owners Meeting that I set up.

Mr. Commenter: I want to go to one of those.

Jay Glazer: With coaches and GM's, I gather all these head coaches and GM's, it's a day drinking day, and last year, TMZ put a thing on how Mike Tomlin missed the "there wasn't enough minority coaches in the head coach picture. Where's Mike Tomlin?" Shit, he was nine vodkas in with me at that point and they thought it was this big thing. No, we're just day drinking! Day drinking is a way of life for me. It's art.

Mr. Commenter: So, the Owner's Meeting, that's an event I've always wanted to go to. Some people are like, oh I want to go to the Olympics one day, or I want to go see Easter Island.

Jay Glazer: You're comparing Easter Island and the Olympics to the Owner's Meeting?

Mr. Commenter: I want to go to the Owner's Meeting and just be around all these drunk ass owners all the time.

Jay Glazer: It's fun as shit, dude.

Mr. Commenter: Where is that meeting? West Palm Beach? Something like that?

Jay Glazer: That's a good question, I better look it up.

Mr. Commenter: I'm going to go. Because that feels like heaven on earth, is just getting day drunk with football guys.

If this opportunity were to become a reality one of these years, I'm not sure who would have a bigger window for success: Mr. Commenter or Leroy. On one hand, Mr. Commenter has the platform to put out some ridiculously entertaining content with coaches, owners, and everyone else present at the meetings around the league. But given the amount of people there, Leroy could also work his magic and try to beat Glazer, Schefter, and Rapoport on some scoops. Regardless, this would be a great scene.
