Spirit Airlines Wants You to Know There's 'Never a Better Time to Fly'

I have to hand it to the marketing team over at Spirit Airlines. There's no better time to advertise your budget airline than during a sweeping global pandemic virus that is most easily transmitted at airports and on planes.  It's honestly a pretty brilliant move if they did this on purpose, because this is the most anybody has talked about Spirit Airlines in years. It's not every day you get an opportunity like coronavirus to show off your marketing prowess.

To be totally honest though, I actually can think of a few better times to fly.

But I don't even know what the hell Spirit is talking about anyway, because $115 isn't even that great of a deal, relatively speaking. You couldn't get me to fly Spirit for free on a day when the world was healthy, let alone still pay $115 when coronavirus is going around. I actually have much more of a problem with Spirit advertising $115 flights as some sort of a deal rather than saying there's never been a better time to fly.

Everybody just be sure you're out there looking for the best deal if you end up taking a coronacation, because there are certainly better ones out there to be had than $115 on Spirit. Also, get your coronacation t-shirts now.
