Can't Believe I'm Saying This - It's Being Reported That Conference Tournaments Are Still Being Played Today
Listen, I can't believe I'm blogging this but it appears the conference tournaments are going on as scheduled. I fully expected to wake up this morning and read all about cancellations and postponements of college hoops. I even started a blog about not having sports as an escape thinking it was heading that way. But this seems to be a positive for us fans who just want to watch the NCAA Tournament. Granted, we still have a LONG way to go until games happen, it appears that the NCAA is operating on a we're playing until something stops us from playing mentality.
The craziest thing of this all is that these leagues are still operating independently. I can't believe there wasn't a conference call with the commissioners of all the leagues still playing and saying 'okay we're all going on or we're all cancelling.'
We'll see what happens as the days goes, but according to reports now it seems like we're watching college hoops today. News will be coming out all over the place I'm sure, so I'll just keep blogging whatever I see.
