WSOC - According to our news partners the Rock Hill Herald, a man was arrested Saturday after he sat in a booth of a Rock Hill Waffle House without his pants, later striking up a conversation with two patrons about his private parts. Authorities said a Rock Hill police officer was working overtime at the Waffle House on South Anderson Road when he noticed Ryan Christopher Smallwood, 26, of Fayetteville, N.C., sitting on a booth “flipping the bird” at a restaurant customer. The police report said Smallwood’s pants were dropped to his ankles, though his boxers were still up around his waist. The officer ordered Smallwood to pull up his pants, warning him that further inappropriate behavior would result in police asking him to leave the Waffle House, the report said. Smallwood pulled his pants back up and the officer walked back across the restaurant. Shortly after, the officer overheard Smallwood talking about his privates to other people sitting at the bar. The officer told Smallwood if he did not leave the restaurant he would be arrested. The officer arrested Smallwood after he made no indication that he would leave. He has been charged with disorderly conduct.

This is so classic Ryan Smallwood. If there was ever a guy who would get arrested in a Waffle House for not wearing pants, it would be Ryan Smallwood. Just look at that mugshot. Kid should never have to wear pants while eating waffles. It’s just not in his DNA to do so. Waffles come out of the kitchen, pants go out of the window. And that seems pretty run of the mill for any waffle house experience? What, you’re gonna arrest everyone who drops their trousers in a Waffle House? There’s not enough space in the jails for that. Let’s pick our battles a little better. If you don’t want to see pantless guys at Waffle House at 2 in the morning, you shouldn’t be at a Waffle House at 2 in the morning. That’s the only defense he needs, and the judge will for sure, no doubt about it throw this case out.

PS: Judging by his mugshot, he was back in the Waffle House the next day, pants around the ankles, having himself a grand ol’ time. Dedication at it’s finest. Respect.
