The Thing Everyone Asked For Is Finally Here: Scooby-Doo Cinematic Universe

Okay, so it is actually the Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe, but we will get to that in a second. All in all, this looks like a delightful, yet corny ass movie.

With hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever -- a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global dog-pocalypse, the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone could have imagined.

The big draw with this movie is its voice cast...

There are tons of non-Scooby-Doo Hanna-Barbera characters that you will recognize. Just to name a few, Yogi Bear, The Flinstones, Snagglepuss, Space Ghost, The Jetsons, Atom Ant, Huckleberry Hound, Baba Looey and Tom & Jerry are all characters under the umbrella. A handful of them are making their 21st Century debut in 'SCOOB!':

Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly

Ken Jeong as Dynomutt/Dog Wonder

Mark Wahlberg as Blue Falcon

Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Sykes

Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman

I am not sure if bringing these characters to life in 2020 will do anything, but trying to take advantage of the property by pairing them with the timeless Scooby-Doo is a smart move. The animation looks slick and a big cast of characters from the studio that brought you 'The LEGO Movie' isn't a bad thing!
