This may be something we will never see again on a baseball diamond. Wide pitcher, Barolo Colon, threw 38 straight strikes as a member of the Oakland Athletics. That's absolutely unreal. You'd think at one point during that 38-pitch stretch he'd let one slip and throw one in the dirt and have the batter hold up. Nope, 38 straight. All in all he threw 82 of 108 pitches for strikes, he was always known for his control, but 38 straight is pretty wild. Like I said at the top, we will never see this again, just won't happen. And the streak should have kept going! It could have maybe gotten to 40! Look at the pitch he got squeezed on. Umpire probably got tired of lifting his arm.
