Chase Claypool Is A God Damn Freak Of Nature And Isn't Getting Enough Credit For It

Look, I am not a draft guy. I am not an expert. I am just a humble unbiased blogger who has accurately predicted that Notre Dame will go undefeated twice in my blogging career. I am also a person with eyeballs and I feel like sometimes I am the only one because why else would the entire world be sleeping on Chase Claypool? The man is a god damn freak of nature. Click on the link above and then come back to this blog. I'll wait.

Okay, thank you. The title of that youtube was "The Next Calvin Johnson". That might be a stretch, but how about this comp?

I like Mike Renner a lot. He said...No

Stovall finished his NFL career with 52 catches over 6 seasons so that was not a compliment. Well, reasonable people can disagree. I am still going with the Mike Evans comparison. That was also before Claypool absolutely dominated the combine

6'4, 238lbs, hand size…long, arm size…longer, 4.42 forty-yard dash…fucking fast, vertical…Dominique Wilkins-ish 40 inches, broad jump…like two peoples worth. Freak of nature.

And if you're wondering why Claypool's college stats don't exactly jump off the page well…I am prepared to blame that ENTIRELY on the former offensive coordinator. Tommy Rees would've fed Claypool against Georgia. I know that for a fact.

Give Claypool the ball more and Notre Dame goes undefeated. That is what I was assuming when I wrote that blog before the season. More deep routes and back shoulder fades and less drag routes and slants. Yet, despite all of the 40 times and youtubes and being fucking huge, NOBODY seems to have higher than a 3rd round grade for Claypool. Makes zero sense. CBS has him ranked as the 18th best receiver in this draft and I feel like I am taking crazy pills. I want to make this real simple for the Bears. Take that 50th overall pick, draft Claypool who will be smart and awesome and just tell Mitch to throw it up to whoever isn't getting doubled with safety help over the top between Claypool and Allen Robinson and go out and win the NFC North again.
