The BBC Had An Interview With A Dog. Like They Actually Had A Dog In Studio And Interviewed Him Even Though He's An Animal Who Can't Speak

The BBC had a segment this morning on dogs and their ability to recognize faces. And for some reason this degenerated into a reporter just interviewing a dog, even though the dog had a human there perfectly capable of answering questions. And while the journalism student in me finds this appalling, why the fuck not? We’re steamrolling our way into Idiocracy every single day anyway. Buzzfeed gets to interview the President even though people only click their cat and basic bitch GIFs. News anchors now think they can just make up stories about helicopters getting shot down in Iraq without anyone knowing. Guys breaking stories on the Patriots just lying to our fearless leader’s face. The modern media is a MESS if you think about it for more than second. So let’s just interview dogs and think none the wiser of it. No point in delaying the inevitable.

Even if this is dumb I’d take that interview over this one with an equally creative caption every single day:
