Rumor Has It The Eagles are Looking to Move Alshon Jeffery

Philadelphia will always love Alshon Jeffery for what he did in the Super Bowl year. Thats how it works in Philly. If you play well and we win a championship there will always receive a sense of respect from the fans. However, I think it would be very hard to find someone who has adamant that Alshon needs to be on this team next year. He has been plagued with injuries throughout his time here in Philly and has been fairly inconsistent when on the gridiron. Not to mention there has been numerous reports of him and Wentz not getting along.

There has been rumor after rumor after rumor that Jeffery hates Wentz. He was the only one of the top receivers last year to not train with him in the offseason. There have been rumors of him bashing Wentz in the locker room. And it was perceived that he always preferred Foles as his quarterback. All of this makes sense as to why a parting of ways looks to be imminent this offseason. Not to mention the salary.

Alshon currently has one of the highest salaries on the team and moving him would really help us out this offseason. Getting some of that cap space off the books could bring in a guy more suitable to our offense for not nearly as much money. A guy like Robby Anderson would do a much better job of stretching the field and opening up the middle for our tight ends. Regardless I think it will be good for both parties if Alshon got a "change of scenery". 

Don't worry though Alshon. We'll never forget this.
