McDonalds Joins Walmart on the List of Getting Creative With Poor Employees

BI - A help site for McDonald’s employees reportedly suggests they return holiday gifts to get out of debt. “You may want to also consider returning some of your unopened purchases that may not seem as appealing as they did,” the McResource site reads, according to screengrabs that were posted on the website of “Low Pay Is Not OK,” a group that advocates for higher fast food wages. “Selling some of your unwanted possessions on eBay or Craigslist could bring in some quick cash,” the McResource presentation reportedly said. Low Pay Is Not OK also criticizes McDonald’s for saying “breaking food into smaller pieces often results in eating less and still feeling full” and suggesting that employees, most of whom are on hourly wage schedules, try to take at least two vacations per year. Another tip from McResource supposedly tells employees to “Stop complaining. Stress hormones rise by 15% after 10 minutes of complaining.”

“Here you go, guy, here’s your two week paycheck for $37.58. You know if you stop complaining it will lower stress.” Mcdonalds is really thinking outside the box here. Did you know if you return stuff to a store and sell your personal belongings you can make quick cash?  Also, if you break your food up into little bites, it tricks your body into thinking it’s not starving. Thanks Mcdonalds.

McDonalds really took the high road here, not like that skank of an organization Walmart.  They didn’t bring out collection bins and make their employees feel like real poor people, they just wrote the retards guide to survival.  They probably walk around smacking employees mouths when they try to sneak a fry in on their shift. Those fries aren’t for poor people.

This list was created in a board meeting, you know it was. A bunch of big shots sat around, and were like, “how can we help our poor employees?”. “Pay them decent wages?”. “Don’t be an idiot, Johnson. We’ll just tell them to sell all of their shit and stop complaining so much.”  “Brilliant.”  I’m not saying I’m going to boycott McDonalds, but this has to be a  joke right?
