Nooooo Tom Clancy Died. RIP, Friend.
Baltimore Sun - There’s a report that novelist Tom Clancy has died.
Clancy’s publisher confirms to the New York Times that he died last night in a hospital in Baltimore.
Publisher’s Weekly also confirms news of the death.
Clancy was the author of about two dozen novels, mostly espionage thrillers including, “The Hunt for Red October,” and “Patriot Games.”
Clancy was a minority owner of the Baltimore Orioles. He owned a house on the Eastern Shore, and lived in a penthouse in Baltimore’s Ritz Carlton.
Tom Clancy was 66.
What a kick in the balls. Born in Baltimore, lived in Baltimore, and wrote awesome books (none of which I have read) in Baltimore.
RIP, Mr. Clancy. I will wear my hat as low as possible in your honor.
