Wake Up With Alex Rodriguez Pissing All Over An Eephus Pitch

Seeing a wild eephus pitch is such a rush. You never really know when one will peek out, but when it reveals it's face, it's just the best. Unless it's El Duque throwing an eephus pitching TWICE in a row to Alex Rodriguez in his prime. Even without watching the video, I bet you could guess what happens after El Duque throws the second one. Yup. Liftoff. A-Rod was probably begging for that pitch to be thrown again after he saw it float across the plate, he got his wish and destroyed it. Even with him double clutching, he sent that ball a mile. I honest to god have no clue why you would think you could throw this pitch, in an actual game, to a hitter as good as Rodriguez, and get away with it. I also decided I need more eephus pitches, give me more of them. I'd love for someone other than Greinke to mix one in every now and then, would really catch guys off guard. Watching him hit this ball was like those massive guys in softball who mash balls for a living. He shouldn't have even had to run the bases after this.
