UNI Kid Drills Half Court Shot For $10,000 ... Except UNI Rules He Was Seconds Late, So He Takes To Twitter And Eventually Gets $2,000

I'll be honest, I thought this was fake at first. I mean the clock isn't running. It seems suspicious. But then I started to do my investigative journalism and found out in the replies that this wasn't the first time UNI had a questionable ruling.

Now I'm starting to think there's some sort of conspiracy theory going on at here at Northern Iowa. I'm also ready to put 100% of the blame on Mark Emmert. Something tells me he's at the top of this and I'll refuse to believe otherwise.

But what are you doing here if you're UNI? How do you come up with the bullshit .5 second late excuse. You gotta treat this as a negotiation. You can say that but you still gotta give the dude at least $5,000. Call it splitsville and just get the hell out of there without this starting to blowup on Twitter. I also don't understand how you don't, you know, use the clock. Instead they are using the parent counting system. You know what I'm talking about. The old 'I'm gonna give you to the count of 3' or the opposite 'I bet you can't do this in 30 seconds' and then speed up the counting so they lose.

HOWEVAH, as I'm writing this blog I see this:

We got even more of a discrepancy. A 3 second delay? Well which is it here. Because the counting made it seem like it was within 3 seconds.

At least he got some free gear though. There's something about a free t-shirt that just slaps different. Oh and the $2,000. I would have wanted at least half, but that's a win.
