Are You PUMPED For The Upcoming Turner & Hooch Series Starring Josh Peck??

Because I'm not!!!!

(Deadline) "Peck will play U.S. Marshal Scott Turner, a version of the character portrayed by Tom Hanks in the movie. The TV series reboot comes from Burn Notice creator Matt Nix and 20th Century Fox TV, where Nix is under an overall deal. Tom Hanks and Beasley in 1989’s ‘Turner & Hooch’

Like the movie, the hourlong series revolves around Scott Turner, who is now a U.S. marshal vs. a police detective in the movie, and his dog. When an ambitious, buttoned-up U.S. marshal (Peck) inherits a big unruly dog, he soon realizes the pet he didn’t want may be the partner he needs."

I'll preface with this: I love Drake and Josh. So before you let nostalgia brain take over and get mad at me for not loving Peck, just wait. Anyway, I love the original 'Turner & Hooch'. It is one of the better movies from Tom Hanks stretch of comedies during that time period, and has plenty of nostalgia value for me. While I like it a lot, I don't think it should be immune from spinoffs or reboots. Should said reboot be helmed by Josh Peck? Well.....It hard to say. I loved his childhood roles, but his adult stuff has been a different story. Namely another remake he did, 'Red Dawn'. Woof. He's been making a great living in the meantime as a Youtuber and social media guy, which you may or may not be aware of.

Honestly, though, I'm not going to bitch about anyone getting work. Get those Disney checks, king. Just please don't let this be a total stinker.
