Kanye West And Joel Osteen Think They're Going To Host A Sunday Service At Yankee Stadium

Source - Kanye West and his Sunday Service Choir are set to boogie down in The Bronx — on a Saturday.

West and his choir announced Monday they will put on another show with preacher Joel Osteen at Yankee Stadium in the spring.

Osteen’s Lakewood Church confirmed these rumors in a press release, calling the forthcoming event “an evening of hope and inspiration to draw tens of thousands from across the country for an exciting time of praise and worship where lives are changed and hope is restored.”

When the rapper joined Osteen at his Lakewood Church for the November concert, the 16,800-seat auditorium was filled.

“The remarkable music talent and excitement that Kanye and the choir brought to Lakewood was fantastic,” Osteen said in the press release. “To see people from all walks of life and all different backgrounds coming to worship together was truly a night to remember.”

“An Evening with Joel & Victoria Osteen featuring Kanye West & the Sunday Service Choir” will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2020. Tickets for the event are $25 and will go on sale on Thursday, February 6 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and Joel Osteen’s website.

Give. Me. A. Break. Actually, no. You know what? This is exactly what the doctor ordered. Let Kanye go into Yankee stadium and preach his bullshit to a bunch of native New Yorkers. Because if there's one group of people that's going to call him out for being a lunatic, it's people from the Bronx. He may as well have booked the Apollo. I wouldn't be surprised if people are buying tickets just to heckle him. I actually feel bad for him because he's been removed from reality for so long, but to think that he's going to get the same reception here that he does in Calabasas is laugh out loud funny. 

Osteen, on the other hand, will be fine. His following is like 99.9999% white, but he's so damn charming. Look at that smile

Who's going to turn down the donation basket when he flashes those pearly whites? No one. And don't even get me started on the hair. I guess this thing is going down in early May? Tickets are twenty-five bucks. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I just talked to Kate and we're going to go so keep an eye out for that. Don't worry, we won't be misbehaving.
