Her YouTube business generated $18 million in a single year, according to Forbes, which put her in the No. 3 spot on its most recent report on the top-earning YouTubers.
Anastasia is a part of a group of YouTube creators who have found success on the platform by developing global content.
Anastasia — who was born in Russia but moved to the US with her family a year ago — speaks Russian, English, and Spanish, and she is learning more.
You know I was finally starting to feel good about myself. Just launched a Sirius show earlier today. Barstool is now worth a reported $450M. And while I, of course, didn't see any of that $450M the news made it's way around the internet to places like the Wall St journal and other publications my more successful friends read. I gladly accepted their ill-informed congratulations. Somehow being a part-time hockey blogger for 6 years was beginning to look like a good career choice.
Then I see this little Russian girl and I realize, once again, that I am a bum. EIGHTEEN MILLION DOLLARS because she has 26 million subscribers. How can any child amass that large of a following? Oh maybe because she's able to get followers in 9 different languages. She isn't like that Ryan Kaji asshole who just opens toys. No, this girl is legitimately better and smarter than all of us. I've been blogging longer than she's been alive and she's roughly 17,990,000 more dollars in the bank than I do. And that was just 2019. Makes you question everything about yourself and how you got here.
I think the only thing left for me to do is have a kid of my own and exploit the shit out of it. That's where all the influencing dollars appear to be. The biggest and only risk with this plan is that the kid will be mine. Meaning not only will I have to take care of it and all that, but it'll also look like me(not great) and act like me(worse). I also have a really cute dog and I couldn't exploit it properly so there's no guarantees about this baby being any better. With that said I am still looking to go forward with this plan. All I need now is a woman willing to have my baby(please inquire within), a new camera since the iphone 5s isn't capable of bringing in high quality video, an intern to do all the video editing because fuck that, a sales team because fuck that, a social media intern, and probably a nanny. That's it. That's all that is standing between me and millions. If I can't figure out how to have a kid that makes me rich on the internet then it was probably impossible for me to begin with, but at least I know for sure. Forcing your kid to live our your failed dreams has never backfired.
