The Barstool Blackout Party Picked Up Right Where It Left Off. Total Chaos

So Friday Night in Miami we did a combined RNR Blackout Tour Party. To say it was an unmitigated disaster/typical Blackout Tour Party would be an understatement. It was honestly like I was transported back to 2010. The fights ended and the party began around midnight. Well 5 minutes into it starting Gaz strolls up to me and casually says the party is being shutdown by the fire department. Wait what? Luckily I didn’t panic because I’ve seen this movie before. I mean if I had a nickel for everytime a Blackout Party was shut down or threatened to be shut down I’d be worth 200 million now.

Anyway apparently there were tornado warnings in Miami and torrential downpours all night. We were in a makeshift warehouse that was the coolest venue we’d ever been in but wasn’t built for natural disasters. So once Salesguy told me what was happening I ran to the back of the party to speak with the police and fire department. Meanwhile the entire warehouse was slowly filling with water and I could hear Dante the Don and Devlin screaming over the microphone for help from security because the stage was being bum rushed by people and on the verge of collapse. I couldn’t help but smile because the more things change the more they stay the same. Like here I am now worth 100 million on paper (not liquid) and I am right back where I was a decade ago. Total chaos around me.

And then the perfect cherry on top was this iconic video of Shooter McGavin sitting in what looked like the middle of the Titantic calling his loved ones to tell him he’s about to go down with the ship.

PS – It wasn’t just our party that got shut down. Basically every party that wasn’t in a club or traditional venue also was shut down.
