New Look At Ana De Armas (And The New James Bond Movie)

ALTERNATE BLOG TITLE: Justice For Ana De Armas: She Should Have Been Nominated At The Oscars

We will get to her momentarily, but they actually dropped a pretty cool spot during the Super Bowl for the new James Bond movie, aka Bond 25, aka 'No Time To Die'.

Some time after the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, James Bond has left active service. He is approached by Felix Leiter, his friend and a CIA officer, who enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that the scientist was abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before.

Friendly reminder that you should be embarrassed if you get mad about them "replacing James Bond" in this movie. They are not replacing James Bond, Lashana Lynch's character just happens to (supposedly) assume the role of 007 in the absence of Bond. It's a codename, James Bond is still James Bond.

Barbara Broccoli, 007 producer, and daughter of legendary 007 producer Cubby Broccoli said this about a future female James Bond...

“Bond is male,” she said. “He’s a male character. He was written as a male and I think he’ll probably stay as a male. (via The Guardian)

So, again, if you want to get mad over the rumors surrounding this movie 1) don't because that's sort of weird and 2) you can rest easy.

Speaking of Lashana Lynch, is she wearing 3D glasses here?

The hell are those?

The villain in the movie is Safin, some sort of eco-terrorist apparently (???) played by Rami Malek… who happens to look like the Phantom of the Opera.

Billie Eilish is also doing the theme song to the movie…

I have no opinion on this other than the fact I doubt it will top Adele's from 'Skyfall'…

I think the trailer was cool, I am beginning to get hyped for this movie. Cary Joji Fukunaga has me excited, but I just hope they learned from the mistakes that were made with 'Spectre', which was a fairly large letdown.

Anyway… here's Ana De Armas…

(Make sure to see 'Knives Out')
