Fucking right baby! America on top of the world once again! Learn the name folks, Sofia Kenin is a tennis grand slam champion. Kenin became the youngest American to win a grand slam since Serena back in 2002! The 5'7" monster just keeps coming at you. She's relentless and accurate. Those are two things that make you one helluva tennis player. Everyone likes to talk about Serena, Venus, Osaka, and Coco these days, but how about Sofia Kenin? Respect the name!

The key point in the match came at 2 all in the final set when Kenin trailed 0-40 on her own serve. She just decided to hit winner after winner and took the game, never losing another one the rest of the match. Unfortunately the match ended kind of weird with Muguruza losing the ability to serve and double faulting to end the match. There wasn't that classic moment of collapsing on the ground for Kenin because that would have been weird to celebrate a double fault (just a tennis thing).

Regardless, an American won a tennis championship last night and her name wasn't Serena Williams. Awesome stuff for Kenin, hopefully she becomes a star in this sport. Now she's got a cool $2.8 million check coming her way. Not bad at 21!
