It's Starting To Feel Like Kobe Is Blessing A Different NBA Player Every Night

That performance you just watched was the best night of Buddy Hield's career. Players have career nights all the time, no big deal right? Well this is where it gets a little spooky.

Here we go again. A #24, somehow taking exactly 24 shots in a career night, with his rebounds and assists adding up to 8 and becoming the first player to do something in a game since....Kobe Bryant. You try telling me that doesn't make you think for just a second. Just by coincidence we're going to get this two nights in a row? Remember we just had this on Sunday

It happens once, OK that's a nice tribute that just so happened to work out that way. It happens again the very next night? I dunno man, you try explaining that. I'm choosing to believe this is Kobe smiling down on some of the best young talent in the league and letting us all know he's watching. Buddy Hield had just been demoted to the bench, I'm sure he wasn't thrilled about it. So what does Kobe do? He pulls some strings from heaven and Hield has the best night of his career with Kobe's fingerprints all over it. You don't know. At the very least you have to admit this is a little eerie.

Buddy Hield certainly put on his best Kobe impression in the fourth quarter to finish off that huge comeback. A fitting tribute to one of his idols and you'll never be able to convince me Kobe wasn't involved here. Life can be crazy like that and if we get something like this again tonight there will be no question about what we are seeing. Pretty nuts.
