Biz JournalsJack Link’s Beef Jerky has commissioned a likeness of Mount Rushmore made with 1,600 pounds of beef, pork and turkey jerky to celebrate National Jerky Day and Jack Link’s Jerky Day in Minneapolis. “Meat Rushmore” stands about 13 feet tall, featuring the four presidents on South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore. It will be on display in New York City June 12 for National Jerky Day, the company said in a news release.

But I tip my cap to beef jerky. If you’re gonna get your own day you gotta go big with it. And it doesn’t get much bigger than a 13 foot tall, 1,600 pound Meat Rushmore. Almost one ton of beef jerky representing our Forefathers. ‘Merica.
