Becky Hammon — A WOMAN — Convinces Coach Pop To Challenge A Play, They Win The Challenge And The Game #NotMyNBA

While you were watching football yesterday, something sinister was happening in the NBA — something that seemed small at the time, but shook the league at its very core.

The Spurs were up by 5 with just over a minute left in the game when Jimmy Butler drove on DeMar DeRozan. As you can see in the clip above, the refs gave him an and-1 continuation for what was pretty clearly not an and-1 continuation.

Grumpy Pop was grumpy about it obviously, but it didn't look like he was going to do anything...until Becky Hammon stepped in and convinced him to challenge the call.

They did, and they won: the challenge, and the game.

You're all smart so I don't think I need to spell it out for you. The implications of what we just saw. As a MAN watching a league for MEN I could see the headlines instantly, could envision the future of the sport I've spent my whole life watching and admiring. I saw flashes of what's to come: women patrolling the sidelines, not only equal to men, but telling men on the court what to do. My penis shriveled up and I shuddered uncontrollably.

Is this really what we want? Because first, it's the NBA...but what's next? The NFL? The modern workplace? The White House???

Feel like a message has to be sent quickly — Coach Hammon disciplined harshly for insubordination, if not fired outright. We've got to get a hold of this thing before it grows out of control.
