Bruins Week In Review + Reactions To David Backes Being Waived (ft. Grinnelli)
Grinnelli and I sat down and recorded this yesterday afternoon, B's week in review and our reactions to David Backes being waived.
It's been a hell of a week for the B's - who blew a 3 goal lead and lost in a SO against the Flyers, Marchand's embarrassing SO attempt, Rask getting concussed by a definitely not intentional elbow, no response in the Blue Jackets game, Ritchie gets waived, Kuhlman gets recalled, B's bounce back against the Pens, Backes gets waived.
To me, it definitely feels like the Bruins are positioning themselves to make a move, talked about this on the pod but Elliotte Friedman said the B's have a trade in their back pocket with LA for Tyler Toffoli and I wonder if Don is about to pull the trigger, or if he's still out hunting for bigger fish.
