Major League Baseball Reaffirms That They're Not Investigating The Yankees Despite Alex Cora Winking In a Video

I'm just picturing Mets, Red Sox, and Astros fans slumping back into their chairs. All of you guys lost your minds this morning when Alex Cora's video from the London Series made its rounds again. In that clip he suggests that the Yankees were a better team in 2019 because of Carlos Beltran and that he was a great acquisition. He winks during the video too. Oh my god a wink! Great heavens that's it! He winked! Death penalty!

That was enough for Carrabis and KFC to nut. That had to mean the Yankees were cheating. I walked into work today only to have KFC and Feits laugh at me saying I'm so fucked. I mean what are we doing guys? First of all I had just come back from the doctor to get a physical and no one bothered to ask how it went. I gave four vials of blood for testing. Nope, not an ounce of care. So rude.

Now to these "allegations." SNY's Andy Martino came out a little earlier and said Major League Baseball is not investigating the Yankees and that they've adamantly denied Beltran helped them do anything illegal (which everyone is suggesting). Do you schmucks think if the Yankees were doing this worse than the Astros that they wouldn't be first on the chopping block? Every non-Yankees fan goes to sleep at night praying the Yankees get caught cheating like the Astros did. It'd be the biggest story in the world.

Astros and Red Sox fans are now pointing the finger at the Yankees only because they have no other play. It's sad. When the Red Sox were caught cheating with their Apple Watches a few years ago they did the same thing. Major League Baseball found nothing. They fined the Yankees a small amount of money and had them donate it to a charity for improper use of a dugout phone when Larry Rothschild asked someone if a pitch was a ball or a strike. That's all they found. Our bumbling idiot pitching coach just did a stupid thing. Least shocking news I've ever heard.

Here's the common misconception going around. Red Sox fans think their team is being attacked and mocked because they believe Cora is being punished for stuff he did while the manager of Boston. Wrong, you morons. He's being punished because he was the ring leader in Houston. What he did in Houston was so bad that Manfred had no choice but to hunt him down and destroy him. He was more guilty than Hinch or Lunhow, which is really saying something. This has nothing to do with the Red Sox investigation, which is still on-going. I made that video last night because he got fired from the Red Sox. Not because I think the Red Sox, as an  organization, is fucked. I'd be shocked if Major League Baseball did anything else with them in terms of punishments.

I frankly don't think much of those anyways. You're naive if you don't think a few years ago teams tried to use the video room to steal signs in some way. The rules back then were not strict and teams took advantage of it. If you told me the Yankees did something along those lines I wouldn't be stunned. My point is that the Astros cheating was on a whole different level and if you think the Yankees did anything like that then you need your head examined.

There’s an enormous difference between using video to decode signs, and using a live feed to relay to the batters in the box in real time with drumming, whistling, and buzzers. That's some CIA bullshit. As illegal as it gets. If it comes out the Yankees were in violation of some use of the video room (and there's nothing to suggest that right now) I'm sure Red Sox, Mets, and Astros fans will combine their idiotic brains and try to spin it that we're worse than Houston. You can probably find evidence from every team in baseball doing something small like that. The desperation is sad. Just take your medicine and move on. It's embarrassing.
