The Philadelphia 76ers Basketball Program Hates Winning Basketball Games
Correction, The Philadelphia 76ers basketball program hate winning basketball games that are not on national television. This is the most predictable team in the history of basketball. You can bet the absolute house that every single time we win a big game in primetime.

We will follow it up with a string of bad losses on local TV. (NBA TV does not count don't give me that shit)
It was basically the same exact game in both of the losses too. We had a comfortable lead at halftime.

Which featured one of our max players having huge first halves.
Followed by a disappearing act in the Second Half

To be fair, Simmons did have this dunk in the second half though.
Which made me embarrassingly jump out of my seat, with a roar of excitement at the bar, watching a game that not one person there gave a single fuck about. Apparently there was something else on TV last night.
Nevertheless, this team’s inability to close out games is a huge problem. Embiid or no Embiid it’s been something that has caused this team problems all year. If only we had a closer that could take over games in the fourth quarter. Yes I still miss Jimmy and No I will not stop talking about it.
However, like I said last week, I still think this stretch could end as a positive for this team. We are learning a ton about this unit and there are people stepping the fuck up. Number one obviously being JRich.
This was before another solid performance last night when he went for 23 points 4 boards and 3 assists. It is a little troubling that arguably the best player in Embiid’s absence has been the guy making the least amount of money in the starting 5, and the shortest contract, but that’s a later problem.

Also I know, I complained about the second half performances from Tobias and Simmons in these two losses, but it would be irresponsible for me to not at least give them credit for their first halves, especially Simmons last night. He looked like an MVP in that stretch. He was so aggressive, getting to the bucket at will, and just making the game look so easy. It’s exactly what Sixers fans have been waiting to see from Simmons. He is so talented and possesses a skillset that is so unique in the NBA that you just want him to take over games like this more often, and for an entire 40 minutes. But you have to recognize that this is a step in the right direction.
So here’s what we have learned from these two games.
1.) Sixers hate local TV. Never liked it.
2.) Josh Richardson is turning into a beast right before our eyes.
3.) Ben Simmons could be the best player in the league if he really wants to.
