I Think We Can All Agree That Big Brain James Won The Night

I'm not going to get into the results of tonight's game until tomorrow's superblog recap of Game 3 because the people on the West Coast haven't been able to watch yet and some people in the other time zones may be saving it on DVR once they get home from work later or put the kids to bed. 

But what I will say in this spoiler free blog is that Big Brain James clearly won the night with that answer, regardless of who won the game. As a wise man has said on the Barstool airwaves multiple times, some things are bigger than sports. And while we watch these three contestants battle for a million dollars and the honor of being known as the GOAT contestant, the clear GOAT of Jeopardy is Alex Trebek. James thought reminding of that fact was bigger than answering some silly Final Jeopardy question and made sure to remind everyone who the real star of the show is. Sprinkle a little bit of gameshow humor on top by crossing out Pat Sajak and there is no doubt James won the night, regardless of who won the game.

Oh a team that won a championship then dumped the quarterback that led them there the minute they got the chance? Doesn't sound like a guy who respects the quarterback of Jeopardy.

And lets see what sweet note Ken Jennings wrote to Trebek considering their history together.

Oh, the (SPOILER) wrong answer to Final Jeopardy. How touching! That's the move of someone that probably doesn't even like Alex Trebek and has been plotting to steal his job for years.

Again, I'll detail who won the game in tomorrow's recap blog. But it's clear James won the night and the hearts of America. #somethings
