Roy Williams Thinks People Don't Believe Him That UNC-Chapel Hill Stinks - Don't Worry Roy, I Believe You. UNC-Chapel Hill Is A Very, Very Bad Basketball Team

I know, I know. Another blog about a mid-major team. However, this mid-major team has a Hall of Fame coach that can't stop, won't stop giving unreal press conference quotes talking about how shitty his team is. But this time he's questioning media members and as a full-time media member I feel like I need to stand up here. I want ol Roy to know I don't disagree with him. This team fucking stinks. They lost AGAIN yesterday:

The best is even the team knows they stink. Armando Bacot, a McDonald's All-American chimed in:

"When I saw it, I felt like it was kind of true, honestly," freshman Armando Bacot said. "I don't think Coach means no harm by it. He still believes in us. But he's just keeping it real."

Here's the fact. Yes, Cole Anthony is injured and out for weeks (we'll see if he returns). But, they weren't exactly lighting it up with him out there. I think he's a top-5 talent, but he wasn't going Trae Young like I thought it would be. The other fact? Roy Williams rolled the dice on a million wings to piece something together. He missed on what appears to be all of them. No one is able to be a playmaker from there and really disrupt defenses. No one is able to go get their own bucket consistently.

8-7? A real chance of missing the NIT because you won't finish .500? Yikes. There's no reason for UNC to be this bad, even without Cole Anthony. I mean they blew the lead against Pitt last night and that Pitt team isn't great. I just want Roy to know that he has someone in the media who trusts him. This team fucking stinks out loud.
