Phew, I'm Happy To Hear David Fizdale Has No Ill Feelings Towards The Knicks!

ESPN- One month after he was fired as head coach of the New York Knicks, David Fizdale said that he has "no ill feelings" toward the organization.Speaking for the first time about his firing on ESPN's Golic and Wingo, Fizdale said he understood that the decision to let him go wasn't personal.

"That's the business we've chosen," Fizdale said Wednesday. "I respect those guys greatly. I miss the hell out of them. ... I obviously learned a ton from it and I was just really grateful to have that opportunity to say I was the head coach of the Knicks."

Whoa, that was a close one. Ever since the Knicks fired David Fizdale, I've been worried sick about how upset he'd be at the team considering the Knicks are the bastion of goodwill around the NBA. The last thing that franchise needs right now is a jilted ex-coach that is mad at them for firing him after he went *checks notes* 4-18 this season. That is especially the case because Fizdale's replacement Mike Miller (not the cool one) has gone *checks notes again* 6-9 since taking over Fiz's roster, runs out rotations that make sense, and already has had a better 10-game stretch than anything Fiz did during his time in New York. I also hope Fiz will have no ill will cashing in the rest of the *checks notes a third time* $22 million contract this franchise gave him for the next few years after going *checks notes one last time* 21-83 during his time here while also knowing that the guy signing his checks was this chucklehead.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go throw these notes and myself into a fire.

Also despite everything I just said, Fiz not having ANY ill will towards Steve Mills for going straight Littlefinger right to his face would be pretty impressive.

Then again, things seem to be going pretty good in the Fiz household these days on Lil' Jimmy Dolan's dime.
