And the Pussification of America Continues. CT Middle School Bans Kids From Saying “It’s Hump Day”....Wait What?
Fox – With over 15 million views, the Geico ‘Hump Day’ commercial is one of the most memorable commercials to date. But the catch phrase has gone too far, according to one middle school.
Now, students at Vernon Center Middle School in Vernon, Connecticut are banned from saying it. And while the school administrators say it’s a distraction some students don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Parents say the school district should have bigger concerns. “I think it’s all kind of silly,” Mick Ruggiero, father of Jacob, “I think there’s bigger things to take care of in middle schools than that. Obviously you don’t want the kids to be disruptive.”
School administrators just doing the damn thing per usual. I mean what do you even say to this? Can you even ban words like this? Like just pick whatever phrases you want and outlaw them? Is that even legal? Oh wait. We’re talking about school administrators. They play by their own set of rules. Constitution smonstitution. Somewhere Mussolini, Hitler, and Stalin smile….
