How Soft Is Russell Westbrook For Having A Fan Ejected For Yelling 'You're A Joke' At Him?

I actually like Russell Westbrook. I love that he's an asshole. I love that he competes every single game, no matter what. I love that he doesn't really give a shit who he pisses off. But, this? What the fuck, man? This is soft. I get that you can have someone ejected if they really cross a line, but saying 'you're a joke'? This isn't a good look, this doesn't help the basketball image. 

I'm very pro-player in situations like this typically too. I get that there are certain things you can't say or do to a player and fans have been close to crossing the line at times. Whether it's touching them while playing or slurs, there are just things that fans can't do. That's why athletes have every right to get back at fans and I don't care when they do. But you can't be this soft. You can't have a guy ejected (as hilarious as it is to see security go there) for saying 'you're a joke.' There will be meaner comments on this blog than that, guaranteed.
