Crazy Video: Houston Firefighters Save a Man From a Burning Building

Goodness gracious. Pretty much reminds me of that time I was stuck in an elevator for a couple minutes. Absolute mayhem. No but really, I can’t even imagine what he was going through. Between the immense heat, the thought to jump for it, and then going ahead with that swinging jump fall to the balcony below him, pretty unreal. And good thing he did that, because that glass door would have taken him out.

The guy in the building did what he had to do to save his own life. But I’ve been thinking what I would do if I was in the situation of the people filming this video. It certainly looked like he could have died at any given moment. Do I keep watching and filming? If the building collapsed before he was saved, is that something I would want to see? But at the same time, they filmed an incredible moment, so maybe it’s worth the risk?
