Crazy Soccer Brawl In Argentina Features Everything We Could Ever Ask For In A Soccer Brawl

Oh, sweet, perfect timing to go in for a slide tackle. No one will notice if I leave my feet and go directly to the legs instead of the ball

This is exactly how I want a brawl to start in Argentina. The fact this is an amateur soccer tournament, taking place on what looks like a JV soccer field at best, is exactly where this fight needed to take place. Oh and of course this took place in stoppage time with the score 4-1 (hint: the dude getting destroyed is winning). Oh and not only that, but these guys are apparently great friends! (h/t The Sun)

Unhappy at his side's imminent defeat, SAT player Lucas Torres chased down rival Matias Casco on the touchline and hacked him without getting anywhere near the ball.

Local reports claim the players are old friends, having played together at a former club.

Classic soccer best friends. But really this is where we start to get into the good part of the brawl and everything I want. We have punches that are connecting but not delivering a bunch of force. We have a guy coming out of nowhere to attack. We have flying kicks in the background. We have a dude getting his leg caught by the one he's trying to attack. All of this is going on while no one is paying attention to the dude who just got taken out and writhing around in pain on the pitch. Speaking of the guy who gets his leg caught trying to attack his opponent he's also using the refs as a shield. I can't stop laughing as he's almost hiding behind them to sneak attack.

It's just perfect. Soccer brawls always deliver, especially when they are in South America or Europe.

PS: Classic case of mistaken identity:

Torres is understood to have apologised to Casco after the game, claiming he didn't realise it was his old pal he was kicking.
