Wake Up With Nolan Ryan Probably Hitting 100 MPH With A First Pitch

Look at this old gunslinger, Nolan Ryan, chucking straight HEAT from the rubber on his first pitch from the ALCS in 2010. No doubt in my mind he could come in and still give you close to 100 for 5-6 innings. This was easily one of the most impressive first pitches I’ve ever seen. Sure it’s not 100, but it’s gotta be 85. It’s not surprising he jumped up to the rubber and let it fly, I’d expect nothing less from the Ryan Express. It’s also unreal that he made his debut in 1966 and retired in 1993. That’s wild. Much respect to Ryan for chucking heat at that age from the mound, eat your heart out, WSD.
