Giants Make Their Biggest Free Agency Splash Yet & Nab DRC For 5 Years/$39 Mil

I understand the knocks on Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. He was a ball hawk prior to his year in Denver who got burned more times than not. He’s been pegged as lazy. I get it. Still, he’s coming off an undeniable #1 corner-caliber season with the Broncos and is an undeniable upgrade to what was a questionable Big Blue secondary. With Prince on one side, DRC on the other & newly signed Walter Thurmond patrolling the slot along with safeties Rolle/Brown/Hill – it’s safe to say the Giants have done all they can to fill a glaring weakness as free agency opened. With the signings of Schwartz, Jennings, Beason, etc. it’s surprising how active Reese has been. Every acquisition has made sense on paper though, including Quintin Demps to bolster an awful kick return game. Fans can’t complain. The Giants are making moves, and all signs point to Eric Ebron as draft priority #1 now. Whether or not they all pay off remains to be seen – but at the very least, we’re not left to sit with our thumbs up our asses like Jets fans.

Poor Jets fans.
