Wake Up With MLB Players Doing The Ice Bucket Challenge To Help Pete Frates Strike Out ALS

Sad day yesterday as Pete Frates died from a long battle with the devil known as ALS. Dave wrote an awesome blog here and the documentary did an unreal job with the video here, and tons of other big name Boston people have posted similar things. You know who he is because of the national phenomenon he started a few years back, the Ice Bucket Challenge. Literally everyone was doing it. The Rock, Jimmy Fallon, Justin Bieber, Chris Pratt, Ashton Kutcher, Bill Gates, Lady Gaga, Vince McMahon, Michael Jordan, Barstool RDT, everyone. It no doubt raised awareness for ALS, but it also raised an insane amount of money to help fight the disease. MLB players took their turns with it, and you see some of the biggest names in baseball doing it. Mike Trout, Derek Jeter, Buck Showalter, Matt Harvey,  everyone wanted in on the action. Go read and watch some of the things that came about about Pete and his family, you won’t regret it. RIP.
