Who Knew It Would Take Only 6 Years For This Kid To Become One Of The Most Dominant Players In The NBA Before He Even Turned 25

It feels crazy that Giannis is already 25 playing in his 7th NBA season. It feels like just yesterday that video came out when Giannis was an unknown skinny kid from Greece. I'd say he reached his goal of becoming an NBA player and then some. Remember how pumped he was when he got drafted?

As it turned, that kid ended up being one of the most accomplished players before the age of 25 in NBA history. I mean look at this shit

LeBron didn't do it, KD didn't do it, pick any superstar player that came into the league early and nope, they didn't accomplish this. To put it in perspective, we all love Luka right? He's an easy pick for the next great young talent in the league who also entered as a teenager. As of now at age 20, Luka has totals of 2,162 points, 776 rebounds, 623 assists. That means over the next 4ish seasons Luka needs to amass 6,838 points, 3,224 rebounds, and 1377 assists. That's somewhat doable, something close to like a 22/10/4 average over that span. Considering he basically did that as a rookie he may the be only young guy in the league right now that has a shot at joining Giannis with those numbers and it might be that way for a long, long time.

It's hard to comprehend how someone who looked like this his rookie year averaging 6.8/4.4/1.9

turned into this

talk about prayer. Plenty of teams could have taken the Giannis risk back in 2013 and the Bucks were willing to roll the dice and it landed them an all time generational talent. Oh, and to make things even more terrifying Giannis is slowly starting to make threes. He's shooting 32% on 5 attempts a night and is making 1.6 a game. Add that to a career high 11.0 FTA a game and we're at the point now where you almost can't defend him. He's even shooting 37% from 10-16ft and 45% from 16ft-3P. The days of just daring Giannis to shoot appear to be coming to an end.

Giannis is the leader in the clubhouse once again for the MVP, which would make him the 12th player to go back to back in the history of the league. Who could have seen that coming when Giannis was first interviewed in 2013. Crazy.
