BREAKING: Papa John Is Officially Becoming A Bachelor!

Source - Papa John’s founder John Schnatter might be scarfing down even MORE pizzas — he’s officially heading for the bachelor life after his wife of 32 years filed for divorce.

Annette Cox filed the paperwork Thursday in Kentucky, saying her marriage to John is “irretrievably broken.” According to the docs she says they separated back in April. They’ve been married since April 1987.

In her divorce petition, Cox points out she’s self-employed but adds John is not employed. It plays like a shot, but those are just the facts. As we’ve reported, he was ousted from his pizza company last year following the n-word scandal.

Schnatter’s worth an estimated $500 mil, even after the fallout at Papa John’s. We don’t say we saw the divorce coming, but the man did say — during a recent, bizarre interview — he’d eaten 40 Papa John’s pizzas in 30 days. 

Divorce is just the start of his legal troubles. Schnatter’s also suing the creative advertising firm, Laundry Service, and its parent company because he claims it leaked the audio that led to him losing his PJ’s gig.

I don’t think the world is ready for a single Papa John. I really don’t. Ever since he was ousted from his own company for using a racial slur a few summers ago he’s been dying to let loose. A divorce is exactly what he needed to kickstart the process. No more ball and chain means he can finally put that five-hundred-MILLION dollar fortune to use. And he will. He’ll be on TMZ shit faced partying it up in Miami, Ibiza, Vegas, you name it. He’s already been doing it for years, I don’t see why this wouldn’t ratchet things up. Remember this picture from 2013? The guy was blacked in line to get food at the National Championship….

Reason being is because if he was in a club his wife would’ve gotten mad. Now he doesn’t have that guilt. The restrictor plate has been taken off and I can’t wait to see what happens. The good news is the two of them seem to be having an amicable break up, so at least there’s that. Best of luck to PJ and the (ex) wife!
