Battle For A Playoff Berth Is On The Line - Colts Vs Titans Pregame Blog

IT'S GAMEDAY! The Boys In Blue take on RDT's Titans for the 2nd and last time. Both teams are 1 game behind the Texans in the AFC South and the winner will keep their playoff chances alive. Even though the roof is closed, it's still going to be a white out in Indy. Great call Mr. Irsay. It's only 39 and snowy in Indy.

Don't let the all-white uniforms distract you from the fact our offense is thinner than my damn self. T.Y. Hilton is OUT, Marlon Mack is still OUT, Eric Lebron Without the L is now on IR due to an ankle, and Parris Campbell is questionable. The offense did a great job running the ball against Houston last week but could not develop a passing game. Jacoby only threw for 129 yards, we had 3 crucial drops, and did not look in snyc. So how does this team beat the Titans and keep playoff hopes alive?

1. Stop Derrick Henry

-In week 2, we held Derrick to 82 yards and a TD. Compared to his last 4 games, these are great numbers for us as Henry has been on a rampage the last 2 games running for over 150 yards and 2 TD's each game. The Colts are ranked 7th in rushing defense and have an ultimate test stopping Henry from sucking the soul out of Lucas Oil.

2.  Pass The Damn Ball (And Catch The Damn Ball)

Jacoby has to bounce back from Houston and play pissed off. We may be thin, but we can still sling it to Old Reliable Jack Doyle and Zach Pascal. I don't mind running the ball to Jonathan Williams, but we can't be handing it off to the left every damn play and running the ball on 2nd &10. Air it out and make Tennessee question us! And catch the damn ball! T.Y. had 2 crucial drops and Hines had 1 that all could've set us up for a scoring position.

3. Make Field Goals

Ever since I made this statement on the Colts - Jags Pregame blog, Vinny has been perfect. Knock on cock he goes 3 games in a row going 100%. Evert

Prediction:

It's been a great week. I made out with a girl, I got great seats to a Pacers game on Friday, and I got a haircut that I still can't get over. No way we lose. Colts 21- Titans 20. As always, Go Horse.
