People Did Not Enjoy Chris Berman Calling The U.S. Open Yesterday

Fucking Chris Berman.  Ruining everything.  How is this guy still around?  While most of the blame should fall on Berman because he’s a complete moron whose schtick was old about 15 years ago I really blame the ESPN executive who decided it would be a good idea to put Berman on golf broadcasts.  Like, “Yeah, let’s take the guy who is known for screaming things like, “Back, back, back, back GONE!” and ‘Rumbling, bumbling kjasdjkghasdhjkfg” and put him on the quietest sport imaginable.  No way that can go haywire.”  Great idea!  That executive should never be allowed to work in the sports television industry again and I hope his life deteroites faster than Rickety Cricket’s.  Berman’s “skill set” doesn’t fit golf broadcasts.  Like at all.  It just doesn’t.  After watching the broadcast yesterday it’s crystal clear why Jim Nantz is so beloved.  Nant’z skill set is perfect for golf.  He’s aggressively quiet, he seems like he wants to be there, he has a great grasp on the beats of a golf tournament and, most importantly, he’s not Chris Berman.  Stop the madness, ESPN.  Stop the fucking madness and take Berman off golf tournaments.  Especially majors.

If I’m ESPN, I put Scott Van Pelt on everything golf.  SVP came from the Golf Channel so he’s more than qualified.  I know they put him on some things golf but they need to put him on everything golf. The more SVP the better.
