All Aboard The Hype Train - Jack Studnicka Will Make His NHL Debut For The Bruins Tonight

With Patrice Bergeron on the shelf with a lower body injury, and Brett Ritchie also out of the lineup, the Boston Bruins have recalled Jack Studnicka (2nd round, 53rd overall in 2017) and Brendan Gaunce from Providence.

I've been fully on the "leave Studnicka in the AHL for his first pro year" train, like they did with DeBrusk, but it's hard not to be excited to see what Studnicka can bring to the NHL.

Studnicka was heating up in the A before his recall with 8 points (5G, 3A) in his last 5 games. He leads the PBs in scoring with 9 goals and 19 assists. Not bad for a rookie. He's got the speed and the size, offensive ability off the charts. We'll see how he fares tonight.

Here are the expected lines tonight:

Studs is centering DeBrusk and Coyle tonight, not too shabby for your first NHL game. Don't sleep on that Bjork - Kuraly - Heinen line too.

CHOO CHOO

It's a great night to win a hockey game.
