On the one hand, its kinda funny. Woody is like “hey dude I’m not gonna fire you!” and its an all out celebration. Kinda like the ultimate backhanded compliment from your boss. You don’t suck enough for me to can you! You’re just barely good enough!
On the other hand, its awesome to see how much this team rallies around this guy. Thats obviously not what wins football games. But its a great thing to have in the locker room. Talent wins games. And when this Jets team acquires enough talent on the offensive side of the football, this sort of passion and loyalty is gonna go a long way towards making them a winner.
