A Virginia Brewery Is Now Making And Selling The "Sell The Team" IPA
I love it. Every litle bit helps. Obviously a t-shirt or a beer isn't going to force Dan Snyder to sell the Redskins, but the public displays of complete disdain for his existence and ownership at least can help make us all feel better.
Whether it's wearing the shirt courtside at the Wizards game..
..or naming a beer in it's honor, every time the idea of Snyder selling is mentioned, it helps. It unites us. It makes us feel like we aren't alone in this fight. And that's the best we can ask for right now.
Again, Lil Dan Dan 99.9% will likely never sell. But did you ever hear the story about the straw that broke the camel's back? Something will HAVE to give ONE day with Snyder, right? When an entire fan base is turned against you? When the stadium is 10% Skins fan, 40% opposing team's fans, and 50% empty? When "Hail To The Redskins" is met with deaf ears and everyone is chanting "Sell The Team" instead? Maybe one day, man. Maybe one day he will put the team up for sale and a superhero will swoop in and save us. Until then, all we can do is buy the shirt, buy the beer, and continue to not give Dan Snyder a single penny of our money. Not a single penny.
