Kevin Lee was counted out of this fight by many – including myself – in the build up to UFC 244. We quite simply believed that Gregor Gillespe’s superb wrestling ability would be enough to neutralize the weapons of Lee, who’d also been on a skid of losses leading up to this one. Folks, I’ll tell ya this right now: I will never count Kevin Lee out of a fight again. I was wrong and dumb and unprepared to witness something so violent so soon.
