World Series Wake Up: MVP Stephen Strasburg's Electric MLB Debut

From maybe the most hyped up #1 pick in the last 25 years to World Series MVP. What a journey it’s been for Stephen Strasburg. Shutdown in September 2012, being called soft, verbal altercations in the dugout with Max Scherzer, and now World Series MVP. The guy was absolutely dominant this postseason, and most of the season in general. He shut up all the critics and absolutely shoved. Howie Kendrick may have hit the go ahead homer in Game 7, but Stras in Game 6 was the reason they were there. In his 5 postseason starts he was 5-0 with an ERA of 1.98, one relief appearance, 47 Ks and only 4 walks in 36 1/3 innings. Unreal stuff by Stras. Well deserved MVP, but I also could have seen him splitting it with Juan Soto or Anthony Rendon. Tons of options for the Nats there. Anyways, enough about last night, check out how filthy he was in his MLB debut way back when, I think he’s lived up to the hype.

You can also get ALL of you Nats Parade gear in the Barstool Store.
